Associate, Technology Group
As an Associate in Safeguard’s Technology Group, Michael identifies, evaluates and provides strategic support for technology companies. Michael leverages a deep understanding of the technology and financial markets to provide support to early and growth stage companies.
Michael came to Safeguard from Merrill Lynch, where he served as an Analyst in the Technology Investment Banking Group based in New York, NY. At Merrill Lynch, Michael focused on M&A and equity transactions for Software and Technology Services companies, and played a fundamental role in a number of successful transactions, including BladeLogic’s IPO. Previously, Michael worked in Bloomberg’s Sales Department where he focused on hedge fund clients. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University’s School of Management with a concentration in Finance and Operations & Technology Management.
